blackpowder1 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 How does The Berreta TX4 Storm compare to Benelli's M4 in terms of quality and performance? And anyhow, since Benelli belongs to the Beretta group, I don't quite understand the need for almost identical shotguns to begin with. Why the "in-house" competition for market share??? Quote
Sukhoi_fan Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Limited to a four round magazine and MSRP at $1,450?? Screw that. Quote

Fleagle Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Limited to a four round magazine and MSRP at $1,450?? Screw that. According to Beretta, the TX4 will accept a magazine extension to hold more than four rounds. Their demo video shows an eight round setup. Quote

Sukhoi_fan Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 5+1 . Beretta website shows "4+1" under the specifications tab - http://www.berettausa.com/products/tx4-storm-12-ga/ The FN SLP is still a much better value, unless you're willing to spend nearly twice as much to get a M4 hi-cap and 922® compliant. Maybe 5+1 with a ghost load? One reason I wouldn't get this one is the dearth of aftermarket support. And we think the Benelli m4 is tough to modify .... Edited December 15, 2011 by John P. Quote
saym14 Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 lets see. whcih one is used by the USMC ? hmmm? Quote
12508 Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Local sporting goods chain has these on sale for $699. I fondled one and they seem very very light and high quality. I'm wondering if a benelli nova ext might fit one. Hmm. Quote
