Xchief30
Hi, I keep getting messages with offers for my BNIB Surefire M80. What's it worth ?
Sukhoi_fan
One sold on feebay recently for a BIN price of $579 shipped. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Benelli-m4-Rare-Handguard-/223491148421?hash=item34091c4a85%3Ag%3AyOYAAOSwtLxcvfIP&nma=true&si=400m9YrQT3VNu3BrtuJRfgzu7Vc%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 feebay also shows one sold recently within 35 minutes of listing for $225 plus shipping - https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/223519227786?item=223519227786&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565 It's clearly what the market will bear since they're no longer available. Like the two Geissele M4 hammers I've got available...no longer made, you want 'em I've got 'em. It's like the C-stocks, I had a like new C-stock available a few months ago and it took a while to sell at $265 shipped, now C-stocks sell on feebay for $450 and up. Xchief30
Wow.I was trying to be reasonable but I'd definitely let it go for that price ? Edited May 28, 2019 by Xchief30
jimbo45
I think $350 is about as much as its worth. $579 is ridiculous for something with an msrp of $230. I've talked to a couple of people wanting $500 and I have gladly passed. Going to try one of the hayl rails for a very reasonable $129. I have an M80 and I'm pretty sure I paid $180 shipped. Xchief30
It's the old rule of supply and demand.... I'm going to hold onto it, it'll only go up in price

Scout_21
Instead of the Hayl rail and its set screws I'd wait for the Briley m4 handguard that will be coming out soon http://dissidentarms.com/index.php/product/benelli-m4-m-lok-handguard-briley/ Just check out the hayl rail instructional video... I don't want to keep putting in and removing set screws when I want to clean Edited June 5, 2019 by Scout_21 updated info

jimbo45
That looks good. Also thats a fair point on the hayl with set screws. I have time to wait for the briley since I'm waiting on the nfa and they just cashed my check for my entry m4.

I don't want to keep putting in and removing set screws when I want to clean I'm not a fan of any of the aftermarket hand guards that have ever been made so far but, having to remove and reinstall tiny set screws any time you want to have a look at something or clean it, is a deal breaker for me all by itself.
