  1. My issue is the open emitter design. On pistols, the violent action of the slide can clear debris or water, etc. The shotgun and rifle, not so much.

  2. SRO is my pick. Good battery life, compact, adequate window size, and thin frame.

  3. All good choices probably the t2 would be my top pick though.

  4. One of the primary reasons I sold my RMR and went back to a T2.

  5. That is a very good point. I have rmr's on some pistols but don't dig them for a long gun.

  6. +1 on SRO w/ Jagerwerks BROS that adds the missing “battle toughness” when compared to the RMR that some people point out. I’ve adapted & run the SRO-JW BROS combo on 2 Benelli M4’s and various other firearms, several of which had RMR’s that are now installed on pistols. When the SRO was released, I was skeptical it could compare/surpass the RMR along with the amount of $$$ I already spent on multiple RMR’s. However, the immediate & significantly larger field of view, easier target acquisition and topside battery access of the SRO won me over in practical application and I never looked back. Some automatically dismiss the SRO and point to it’s “larger/higher/forward lip” dimensions..which are so fractionally small while the SRO still retains the identical footprint/mount size as the RMR. When adding the Jagerworks BROS as a protective barrier for the SRO, some people point to the inherit “extra bulk”..just ridiculous..IMO only. Different strokes for different folks and each to their own..I prefer to objectively experience, acknowledge & apply newly developed technologies & improved firearms products for my benefit.

  7. I had lost track of this thread and didn't realize you had responded SD until it was bumped recently. I'll try to check that out soon. Thanks.

  8. As far as current selling price, look at GunBroker.com. Do an Advanced Search. There is an option to show you ended sales and it has the selling price. This is more accurate than looking at just the current list price since some people inflate the price hoping to snag a sucker.

  9. Got my stock limiter cut. Can fit on either types of recoil tubes. I am gonna leave it raw metal so it is pretty obvious the stock can't go down. Also have this getting 3D metal printed to slip on the top gun:

  10. Another option would be the Trijicon SRO. It has a larger sight window than the RMR. If you pair that with a Jagerwerks BROS shield, you can harden that setup so it's gtg. It mounts to the same footprint as an RMR, and top loads a battery vs the bottom loading RMR

  12. materials prices are up quite a bit in the past 4 months, i'll need to increase the price on the next batch unfortunately. This is a very low margin product for me to start with. I mostly did it as I really wanted to have it for my self and I'm glad others enjoy it also. I'll be posting updates on my website (rxarms.com) for the progress of the order, I'll be likely ordering metal next week. I'll also be making a small changes to the v2 design. One, I'll be making the diameter a bit smaller, and extending the handle out 1/4", with the goal of keeping the same weight, but making the handle a bit longer (the diameter needs to reduce to achieve this). I am guessing new diameter will be around 0.57" instead of the 0.6" but we will see. thanks again for all the support.

  13. keep the LE model and buy a fixed pg stock, change out as you wish... fixed stocks are cheap. best of both worlds

  14. FFT isn't credible anymore. The face of the company, Todd, believes that the M1014 how it arrives to America is a California assault weapon because the aluminum stock can collapse when you want to strip the gun.

  15. Its the way Benelli designed the stock to adjust and lock into position. Pressing the adjustment button in unlocks the stock from the receiver extension. This allows you to rotate the stock 45 degrees to the right. Now you can slide the stock up and down the length of the the receiver extension. Lines are milled into the receiver extension to indicate where the three positions to lock are available. You’ll also note that between the fully extended and the middle position is a disassembly notch. Once over this notch, the stock will then rotate 90 degrees to the left, then the stock can be pulled off of the receiver extension.
