  1. What software do you use? I’m currently wanting to get a design of a SPAS-12 inspired forend with mlok slots on top. Like the image below minus the bump in the front:

  2. Sorry I'm not looking for a trade, I didn't like the original color so I had it Cerakote Burnt Bronze.

  3. Newbie here. Wanted to thank the folks in this thread for all the information regarding the tube removal and install. Just got a M4 and it was stupid easy to remove the OEM tube on mine. Heat gun on low setting (450 F) and I only had it on the receiver for like 2 minutes as I wanted to test if it would move at all and it turned just using my hands. The red lock tite didn't even melt but pretty much crumbled off. 99% of it was on the tube threads and basically nothing on the receiver threads. Wiped off all the crumbled pieces and the new tube (DMW) went on easy. Also, DMW tube is great! Got it in like 4 days after ordering on his site and while it may not be as nice as the FFT, CC or Briley, for 115 bucks, you can't beat it and he actually had them in stock. I'm sure the titanium tubes from FFT (honestly think they are way over priced) and CC (reasonably priced but 3-4 month wait) are nice but DMW tube is exactly what I wanted at a price that is very reasonable. For any other newbies like me, here are the parts to make it 922r compliant. DMW tube - 115 DMW follower - 19 FFT forend - 70

  4. Looks and feels good. Feels like it sits at about the same height as my t2 on an adm low mount. Will have to take it to the range next week to see how she holds up.

  6. Size comparison of the P2 and T2. Sorry, no mount for the P2. Plan to make her an offset rds for one of my rifles.

  7. Also here's a size comparison of the P-2 and CompM5S. Sorry no T-2 as the gun it is on is in service at the shop. There's a few comparison pictures on Arfcom. Also got to visit Holosun. Their service is fantastic and friendly.

  9. First impressions are great. Size is phenomenal. I can see why some friends in my circle are dumping their T-2 and RMRs for this. The walls of the optic kind of disappear once you peer through it. The phone capture on the last picture was hard to do, so it gives an illusion of a fuzzy dot but it is in fact very crisp. There is a very faint blue tint to my eyes and it is on par with the T-2. This tint is also confirmed with some users on arfcom.

  11. Just got the aimpoint in today. Paid the extra $20 or whatever it was for overnight because I have a 3 day weekend and wanted it to get here. Don’t think I’ll be getting the scalarworks mount. I like the height it sits at on the stock rail. Feels similar to shouldering my ar with the 1/3 cowitness eotech that’s on there. Took some pictures in case anyone wants to know how it looks

  12. The T2 will give you a clearer image and battery life of around 4-5 years of constant on. the RMR has a very good battery life too but it also has the fiber optic/ tritium option. Both are battle tested, both will serve you well. Cowitness has its draw backs. If your optic gets damaged or muddy both sight and irons are out of commission. If you run a low mount on the rail all you need to do is flick a lever and you have your irons. personally I run a low QD mount RMR because I like running the stock collapsed. I have a BKC front sight and the triangle RMR.

  13. Now that the removal is complete, it is time to reinstall your new full length magazine tube. Test fit your magazine tube into the receiver. Make sure that the threads are clean and they do not hang up during seating. You may reapply locktite to your new magazine tube if you wish. I personally forgo this option so I can clean the weapon better. I simply tighten the tube down very tight by hand. It is much easier to clean the receiver if you can remove the magazine tube. Once you have tightened your new full length magazine tube. Insert your follower down the magazine tube. Then install your magazine spring. Then compress the magazine spring, and install the Magazine Spring Retaining Cap. This is best to do with snap ring pliers. Reassemble your weapon and function test it. Ensure that the weapon can now seat seven 2 3/4" shells or six 3" shells in the magazine tube. All in all, this job sounds harder to do than it really is.
