  1. Haven't seen a manual, but just looking at the pictures, I would assume that the stock would have to come off before the trigger group could be removed.
  2. Episode 3
  3. A very funny movie indeed! It takes a special sense of humor to enjoy it though.
  4. Screw Ebay and put it on gunbroker.com. if the item is legal for sale or purchase in all 50 states, then it shouldn't be up to ebay to make the decision on whether or not it's OK to list. It REALLY pizzes me off that they're so quick to pull something like that, but they continue to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the numerous counterfeit Leupold optics offered there every day, even though Leupold has lobbied against them. Ebay even killed my favorite current auction late yesterday or early today. A hunter in TX was auctioning off his right to hunt for a period of one year. He was challenging PETA and other antis to put up or shut up, saying this was their chance to buy the lives of numerous deer, doves, ducks, etc. The auction looked legal enough, considering people can sell likenesses of Jesus' mom burned in toast or ghosts in jars, but the comments were slamming PETA pretty good, and I'm sure the pictures of last years' kills didn't help here's the cached version [ 09-08-2006, 08:21 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  5. Alright boys and girls (and men who wear manties), goose season has already begun, and the ducks are coming up soon! So let's post up some pics of those rusty old Benellis, virus-free birds, and if you must... your ugly mugs Wishing everyone a bountiful and safe season!
  6. C'mon Joe. Just Google shotgun cheekpad and pick one There are scores of styles and types available.
  7. Wanna see a real nice set? GIS for "m1014"
  8. Call Customer Service and explain it to them.
  9. I vote succinct. /edited - blaming it on Amstel Light [ 09-06-2006, 06:26 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  10. Don't put a cold gun back into the case. Condesnation will form on the metal surfaces. Allow the gun and case to reach room temperature, then zip it up. Also, don't put a wet gun into a case if you can help it. The case will retain moisture for a long time.
  11. It's simply used to clean the threads inside the barrel. I use mine about twice a year.

  13. I'm from VA as well, so I know all about deer hunting in the jungles
  14. I wouldn't shoot buckshot through a tight choke. Larger shot tend to scatter when compressed too tightly through a smaller choke. Have you tried the factory IC choke?
  15. Primos Dead Zone chokes have performed well for me in the SBEII. I'd expect similar results with the Nova. The set cosists of two choke tubes. One for decoying birds and one for pass shooting. Your shot size will depend on the size of the ducks, but generally I like steel #3's in the Kent Fasteel.

  17. Very nice! It was 86 here today Couldn't hear the geese for all of the jet skis and bass boats.
  18. Nothing is wrong. You can pull it back down with your finger if it really bugs you. Over time, it will loosen up and snap back down on its own. All new Benellis do it.
  19. Not a huge fan of bipods, but I'm thinking about one for this rifle.
  20. Yesterday AM was a little too tropical stormy for me. Went out in the afternoon and pinpointed about 50 going into a roosting spot. Got two this morning, but I'll be waiting on them to come back this evening. Saw perhaps 100 or so altogether this AM.
  21. More than likely, the gun has plugs instead of screws in the receiver. Disassemble the receiver and remove the bolt. Then push the plastic plugs out from the insdide using a small punch or screwdriver. Keep up with them to put back in should you ever want to sell the gun. I'm going to assume you're not using the red dot for duck hunting? Hevi-shot is fine through any choke. Look for mudhen's posts on turkey chokes for more good information.
  22. Also, the beads should line up with the front bead just on top of the mid bead, making a figure 8. The target should be clearly visible just above the two beads, not allowing the beads to cover the target. Foolish move to take a brand new gun out on a hunt without practicing with it a bit first. I switched from a Remington to a SBEII and it took me several boxes of shells and several shim adjustments to get it where I wanted it.

  24. To be honest, I'm not sure about the grip, myself. The base slides up and down the grip for a somewhat custom fit. I also like it because it's a little taller and gets the mag off the bennch a bit. I appreciate your patience
