25 yard group with Brenneke Classic 2.75" from the bench. 3 shots. Here's another one so you don't accuse me of "cherry picking":
-
I have done this on 4 different M4's. Each one was its own animal and had little to nothing to do with the heat-gun, but rather how much compound Benelli used, and how well the metal prep was/it adhered. My $19.99 heat-gun soldiers on--heat is heat, and it will burn ya!
-
Benelli receiver tolerances vary. Mine shot loose by 1/3 turn when I used just a little Loctite 242 equivalent. Then I took it home and CAKED it in 242. Well, it still came undone rather easily. The 242 just doesn't stick to anodized aluminum and Ti. You need to use a primer, or Loctite 243. 242 does not adhere. All it does is dry, and take up space making things a "snug fit" but does zero for adhesion.

I'm doubting ProMag re-invented the wheel, there is some Italian in that stock, I think. Curious to see the review, and glad I sold my OEM C-stock about half a year ago or so!

Girls where I went to school carried tasers, mace, pistols, etc. Never saw the pistols, but you knew who. I did see a taser lit up once. It was just someone showing someone else, but it sounded so angry. I made up my mind then and there that the mace carriers were better victims than the taser carriers.

I've never had to break an M4 in. They shoot target loads right off the bat. I clean it. I lubricate it with TW25G like I would an M4gery. I hold it tight. Verify: Pistons are not hitting the rubber on the M80 rail. Correctly and thoroughly lubricated BCG. Correctly seated barrel.

I bought mine NIB unfired for $2500. Insane when I remember them going for $1400 without the C-stock after someone sold that separate.
-
Totally lame. You cannot post a "limited edition" item for sale and then blank out what serial number it is within the 2500 unit run. Gun stores don't put tape over all THEIR rifle's serial numbers. It's ridiculous and serves no purpose.

I live in an apartment. I run buckshot. It penetrates brick VERY poorly. Also very poor on most any other "hard" surface. Either way, birdshot has no place in HD in my book, so I run buckshot. Run some tests of 00 on brick and pine 2x4's and you will be surprised at how "poorly" it does.

They don't. They have had it on their site for over a month. heckler&kochp2000 is good to go. Botach IS NOT!
-
I wouldn't buy anything from them. At least, nothing I was concerned with ever receiving. www.primaryarms.com is a good company with great prices, and will have the Ultra when it ACTUALLY comes out. Botach is selling vaporware, and Surefire dumped them as a legitimate supplier a long time ago. Here they are back in 2001...then 2005...and now here they are in 2012 letting you put stuff in your cart that they don't even have...and here is what people are saying in 2012 in my last link...where Botach added this to their site months ago... http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?152-Botach-problems-censored-on-surefire-s-page http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/243833_Botach.html http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=610586

I wonder when the "Scout" version is coming out...
-
I'd come up with $1551!

I lube the gas system. It makes things messy and smokey and I don't care. That said, there is no real reason to. However, applying some lube (CLP, grease, snot) to the O-ring will greatly reduce your chance of tearing it when re-installing the caps. I would do that, if nothing else.
-
So you needed to pull the weapon up fast but still managed a picture? Or did you just find the picture online to illustrate?
-
Huh? Why would anyone hold an M4S90 this way?
-
Remington 870P gets my vote, if HD is the only reason. I bought an M1014 because I enjoy shooting it AND it will do fine for HD, and is probably the firearm I could most easily afford to replace until I get another Glock.

It threads into the drilled/tapped bolt-release sold by Tac-2

Heads up! Gungrabbers now on the move to confiscate and destory your guns

America is more Pro-Gun than ever. THAT is a blessing, regardless of other things: http://www.gallup.com/poll/123596/in-u.s.-record-low-support-stricter-gun-laws.aspx http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/20/gun-control-polls-aurora-shooting_n_1690169.html ^I know one of these sources is right-wing bias, but look at the source for the polls. It isn't "false hope" just meant to appease a political stance. -
100% normal. Owned 4 of these, all did it from round 1.
-
I love it. Bought it so I wouldn't have to mess with choke tubes.
-
Grease for things that slide. Oil for things that rotate. The louder the operation, the thicker the lubricant you are likely able to use. These are general, over-simplified guidelines.

It measures 0.438" diameter with my calipers. OEM measured 0.238". Here are the components: http://shop.tac2.com/product.sc?productId=1&categoryId=2 http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Shooters-Connection-Mag-Release-Button-P536.aspx

It ran me about $85 or so after shipping. However, that button is Cerakoated with the same stuff as the mag-tube. That came as a personal favor + shipping.
