  1. lol And the listing states "Made in the USA" while the truth is no one knows for sure where it's made* (except for the people at ProMag, and if it were indeed 'made in the US' it would be marked as such, don't ya think?) I certainly wouldn't rely on a part for 922® compliance which wasn't clearly marked 'made in the US'. *I bet dollars to donuts it's made in China, given the way the Chinese take great pride in their ability to counterfeit whatever they can see turning a profit on and especially considering the price point ProMag has on the c-stock/forend package. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Benelli-M4-Tactical-Collapsable-Stock-Pistol-Grip-M1014-12-Gauge-Shotgun-/330870792791?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d096fa257&nma=true&si=Gqe9QeXxiVAbGYTTPA5EYCajEFo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  2. Recently I've gotten a number of different types of rounds, and so far it seems the low recoil 00 buck is 1/8" (Remington) to 3/16" (Winchester Ranger) shorter than other 00 buck rounds (such as Nobel).
  3. Don't have a M2 so I can't give you any feedback. However I would think that if your M2 reliably cycles low brass bird shot then the low recoil buckshot won't be a problem. (check the numbers, the velocity isn't reduced substantially) Where'd you find the low recoil Winchester buckshot in bulk? All the sources I kept track of are out of Winchester low recoil.
  4. If you have a TacStar extension it will probably never hold seven rounds.
  5. Not all 2.75" 12 gauge rounds are the same length - I suggest you try another brand if you just have to have 7 rounds in the magazine.
  6. Found one, thank you anyway.
  7. Does he have a lifelong ambition to eliminate *effective* RKBA as a Communist goal? DEFINITELY.
  8. Sorry I was not more clear guys - I'm willing to pay up to the highest of the last three to sell on feebay which were $51 and $71 plus shipping, with one selling for $60 shipped. I'm patient, I can wait for another to show up on feebay.
  9. Does anyone have a M4 PG stock in good shape they care to sell since replacing it with a C-stock or field stock? TIA
  10. Dunno WTH they'd do that, apparently they were clueless - the innards were DRY and like I said the barrel is full of lead, yet the gun shows very little wear overall. Also, the phillips screws on the stock cover show no signs of a screwdriver having been applied. I'll try your suggestion. I'm ambivalent about retaining the C-stock on this one with adding a 3 position receiver ext., have to see if I can find that part without paying through the nose for it.
  11. Thanks for that info SD. I compared what I've got with the M4 schematic on the Numrich website and it appears I'm missing the retaining pin, part #114 (in the schematic), the retaining pin which is vertical. The C-stock that I have that works has that pin in place but the one on the M1014 lacks it. It makes for very little interference inside the C-stock when in place but apparently it's just enough. Dunno how it could have come out as the stock cover has to be removed for it to be removed or replaced, and there's no way the shotgun can be comfortably fired without it in place. Weird.
  12. I picked up a lightly used M1014 in good condition in a trade. Doesn't seem to have been shot much, however it appears nothing but slugs was shot through it as the barrel is leaded up to a fair thee well. The problem with this piece is that the 'fixed' skeletonized buttstock won't stay fixed into the single notch allowed for it on the recoil tube. It's definitely not a problem with the recoil tube as I took the OEM C-stock off my 11707 and it works just as it should on the M1014. A moderate tap on the butt of the M1014 stock will cause it to fully collapse even on the 11707 recoil tube - it certainly won't retain its 'fixed' position while firing, it collapses that easily. I inspected the plunger inside the stock which engages the notches, comparing it to the OEM C-stock off the 11707 and I cannot detect any substantial difference. Like WTF? So do you guys think Benelli will replace or repair this buttstock for me? It's definitely not usable the way it is now.
  13. Who wears dark shades as safety glasses for shooting skeet? Answer: Someone who doesn't have a pair of shooting glasses and doesn't have a clue.
  14. You're right, angle of barrel is indicative of TRAP shooting NOT skeet shooting. Source of photo is the White House.
  15. Photo of 0bomber allegedly 'shooting skeet' - how many things can you find wrong in this photo?
  16. Thx for that info, KB.
  17. ANYTIME you 'register' something with the state it's no longer yours.

    new m4

Describe more specifically "gets stuck" Did you disassemble it and lubricate it properly before taking it out to shoot it? Also, after lubing it it's best to break it in with full power loads such as buckshot (at least the 2 3/4" shells anyway).
  19. That part is called the recoil link.
  20. Sorry to hear you're having difficulty and I hope you manage to hang on to it.
  21. I see you have absolutely no emotional attachment to your pieces.
  22. I'd *consider* trading mine for an island in the S. Pacific.
  23. Thanks for the input. I picked up a case of 'em. Here's another similar offering by Rio - http://www.rioammo.com/law_enforcement/rio_LE_frangible_slug.html
  24. When one needs a gun for personal defense one needs it NOW!!! Been there, done that. As has been pointed out, an unloaded (and untest-fired) gun is WORTHLESS for personal defense. FWIW, the gungrabbers think we should keep our guns *safely* locked up "until you 'need' them". (I usually don't keep a round in the chamber, but I DO keep several rounds in the mag.) BTW, as a 'nam vet friend is fond of saying, "If you find yourself in a fair fight then your tactics suck."
