Question, now I am confused. Benelli M4 and accessories.
Sukhoi_fan replied to Hypergunner's topic in Benelli
The ProMag stock/PG counts as two parts. The 'collapsing/telescoping' stock is one evil feature and the (more than 5 round capacity) FL tube is another evil feature. The M4 comes from Benelli with one evil feature (other than being semi-auto), i.e. the PG. -

3 US parts if only a FL mag tube, 4 if a 'telescoping stock' is added. -

You need four Made in the USA parts IF you're going to install a full length magazine (which would account for one Made in the USA part) since the ProMag stock accounts for TWO Made in the USA parts (pistol grip and stock). If you're not going to install a FL tube then you can simply install a Made in the USA magazine follower. -
Feinstein wants you to register your Benelli shotguns under the NFA

Very good Trooper Steve, I salute you. -

YMMV as to whether or not your particular shotgun will cycle mini-shells, what matters is that if the tube mag on your shotgun will hold 6 or more 2.75" rounds (e.g. a nearly 100 y.o. Winchester Model 12) then it will hold at least 11 mini-shells (the fact that your shotgun won't cycle mini-shells is inconsequential). -
ATI Raven Adjustable Stock & Forend for the M4
Sukhoi_fan replied to ATI Gunstocks's topic in Benelli
It appears that $625 is for the stock/forend combo, stock only is listed at $375. Dunno if nearly $200 more (over the ProMag stock) can justify the adjustable cheek cheekrest when the OEM (style) works fine in the middle position for low mounted optics.- 26 replies

A couple of very informative videos on the issue - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3xC22DrmkU&feature=player_embedded -
According to Fineswine's proposed bill mini-shells will subject your Benelli shotgun (and many other shotguns) to NFA rules (since the mag capacity could be increased to more than 10 rounds). (btw, this proposed bill ELIMINATES the possibility of future transfers, e.g. as is currently done with NFA weapons - the ONLY transfer allowed will be to turn into the govt.)

I've always preferred a field stock, however someone on this forum pointed out that a PG makes it easier to weld the shotgun one-handed vs. the field stock. I compared the purchases on both styles of stocks, and sure enough that was the case.

I'm considering getting some of the 'reduced recoil' 2 3/4" 00 buck rounds for my M4. My question: is there a downside to using 'reduced recoil' 2 3/4" rounds in the M4? (other than the obviously reduced muzzle/downrange energy) TIA

Gee, I'm so confused...

Another anomaly: if one is intent upon suicide, why be the least bit concerned with one's computer hard drive and take such pains to obliterate it??? And WHY would the LEOs on the scene wait several hours to check the contents of the car (refer to the video showing them taking a shotgun out of the car's trunk after sunset)??? This really makes NO SENSE being that the car could conceivably had an IED in it, and therefore would have been searched as one of the very first things done to 'secure the scene'. (afterall, the car WAS parked very close to the front entrance where the first responders were coming and going) Way too many other anomalies and inconsistencies with the 'official story'. I'm not saying the official story isn't plausible, I'm just saying that there's a whole lot of stuff which is incongruent and that's very troubling.

'Faithful' NRA members remind me of abused wives who stay with their violent husbands who have a very clearly defined history of repeatedly beating the living **** out of them on a regular basis because they somehow think they will change despite the irrefutable history of abuse.

I submit that YOU should "face reality" and admit that the NRA has betrayed gunowners AT EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY: NFA '34, GCA '68, McClure-Volkmer '86 (where the NRA threw the machinegunners under the bus without ANY hesitation whatsoever), AWB '94, and ESPECIALLY(!) NICS in '98 (since the NRA was the prime mover on NICS, the worst thing that could have happened including all the previous infringements). NO serious student of history can deny this. Period. Or alternatively you could cling to your cherished delusions. lol
-
I've been closely watching the situation for over 20 years, and I submit anyone who thinks the NRA is on the side of RKBA is delusional. As 'hardcore' as Neal Knox was and as hard working as Neal was at it he was STILL unable to get the NRA to change course. And although what Wayne LaPierre had to say today *sounded* good, we'll just have to wait and see what the NRA actually does when the rubber meets the road. Never forget that it was the NRA that PUSHED NICS through, and NICS is the worst possible thing to happen to RKBA.
-
I don't see how the NRA's track record could possibly be worse than it is ('cause if it was any worse the truly blind could see it for what it is despite their cherished delusions).
-
We'll certainly get to see the depth of the betrayal by the NRA on Friday, won't we? I can't tell you how many times I've had NRA 'life' members tell me that no one needs a hi-cap magazine, that owning any guns that take hi-cap mags gives gunowners a 'bad image'. You wanna talk about 'division' - the NRA FOSTERS division.
-
Pardon me Joe, but are you completely clueless??? The NRA has a solid history of selling out gunowners at every possible turn, e.g. NFA '34, GCA '68 (the beginning of the form 4473 and the end of mail order guns), McClure-Volkmer '86 (the machinegun ban), NICS (which requires one to get *permission* before taking possession, the NRA is MOSTLY responsible for NICS) - the NRA STRONGLY supported ALL of the above. I can see it now - the NRA will support 'registration' of 'assault weapons' (ALL guns are assault weapons) "See, in order to avoid an outright ban we *managed* to 'negotiate' 'registration', therefore we helped all you gunowners out AGAIN! NOW SEND US MORE MONEY SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO *HELP* YOU!" On top of all that, the NRA provides cover for treasonous politicians. If one is wanting to support a genuine gun RIGHTS lobbying organization they should send their money to GOA, SAF, JPFO, i.e ANYONE EXCEPT the NRA.

ALL the M1 versions of the 121 ARE 'police' (military) versions (short barrel, FL mag tube). It's just that over the years Benelli made a couple of very slight changes, e.g. instead of a sling swivel screwed into the buttstock (early version) they installed a plate in the buttstock much like the Super 90 model; there was also no barrel band (binding the barrel and mag tube together) on the early 121 M1. Additionally on the early model the front sight was square, the one in the photo is a later version with a smoother profile front sight. The one in the OP appears to be neither early nor late production since it has a screw in rear sling swivel and a smother profile front sight. Of course if you get the date code off the barrel you can determine year of manufacture. If you do get it, make sure you keep that recoil link pin at the rear of the bolt well lubed at all times.

Benelli no longer makes replacement part for the 121/SL80. I loved mine, but got rid of them due to not being able to get parts for 'em any more. I wouldn't pay more than 700 for one in great condition - imo.

Zero cries crocodile tears then goes back to his office to make more plans using his 'kill list' to kill more civilians in Pakistan, a country we are supposedly not at war with. Thousands of Pakistanis have been killed via Predator drone strikes including dozens upon dozens of children - are the lives of these little brown children less precious than the ones lost in Connecticut?? Why do we not see the little brown faces of children killed in Pakistan?? (rhetorical question of course) What's even worse, Zero employs a tactic favored by the most evil terrorists to terrorize the Pakistanis - after a drone strike the drone is kept in position for a 'follow-up strike' which ends up killing those who rush to the scene to rescue survivors. All this being done in 'our' name of course. Now don't forget boys and girls, they hate us because of our freedoms. /sarc ETA: BTW, Zero who was awarded the Nobel 'Peace' Prize has authorized/conducted SIX TIMES AS MANY drone strikes on Pakistan in four years than GeeDub did in five years. So the prudent shouldn't believe a single word out of that liar's mouth about him respecting the RKBA, therefore the prudent should act accordingly. If you've been holding off getting that hi-cap (capable) Benelli shotgun now is the time to act to get one while you still can.

There are fire extinguishers positioned all over a school - why shouldn't (adequately vetted and trained) staff have access to the appropriate self-defense weapons - just like fire extinguishers?
