  1. It can be done without a vice. You can have a buddy help hold the receiver end while you unscrew the magazine extension.
  2. I'd definitely go with the carriercomp titanium muted finish tube. It's pretty close to the Cerakote finish.
  3. I'm a fan of the Trijicon RMR on the Benelli. I usually go for the Trijicon RMR Type 2, RM09 which is a 1moa dot optic size. I see no purpose for the larger diameter dots since they just obstruct more of your target. I never found them to be faster than the small ones. With my eyes I can't tell the difference between the 1moa and the 3.5moa dot size. For a mount, Scalarworks is what you seek. https://scalarworks.com/shop/integral-mounts/sync-01/ https://www.amazon.com/Trijicon-RMR-Type-Adjustable-Sight/dp/B071XFFTJ8/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=trijicon+rmr+type+2+rm09&qid=1583982039&sr=8-1
  4. To remove the tail piece of the stock, press and hold the button on the stock in, rotate the tail piece of the stock about 45 degrees to right. Push the stock forward until it stops. Now while still holding the button in, rotate the stock 90 degrees to the left. Then pull the stock off the end of the receiver extension. For the pistol grip portion, remove the trigger pack. Now unscrew the pistol grip from the receiver extension. It can be tight at first, and you should have about four full rotations before it will slide off the end of the receiver extension.
  5. You can buy the OEM latch from Brownells or Numrich Arms. Having a threaded hole in your factory button won’t negatively effect the use of the button if you decide to remove the oversized button at some point. You could fill it in with black RTV or something and not see it.
  6. I found the TTI one sticks out too far. It doesn’t have any feature to prevent the button from turning if hit hard. The only way to make it better would be to profile the post so that you could control the angle a seat the button pad lower. Perhaps counterbore the bottom of the button. That’s a lot of work and would need a mill. For most, they’d just be better off getting the GG&G model.
  7. No it is not. While it isn't too terribly hard to drill and tap this hole on a drill press, I found the button of this type to be a snag hazard. It sticks out so far from the receiver that it can hang up on clothing rather easily. Here's one from TTI. The button actually pivots from the pin, so the button travels at a slight arc. 8. Good deal. Figured I’d check!
  9. Would you want that NP3+ plated Ava Tactical mod1 Mount? Obviously I’d have to kick in a little cash.
  10. A Cerakote guy could paint just the visible areas of your Briley trigger if you don't like the color. I did that one a few of my FFT triggers. I can't remember if you were the one that did the RTV mod to the Hayle rail so you didn't need to use those stupid set screws?
  11. I use a cop that does this in his spare time from a company named, Thin Red Line Performance Coating. He's pretty quick, reasonable on price and willing to take on weird stuff. https://www.facebook.com/thinredlineguncoating/
  12. PayPal works for me. Preferably the friends and family so you don’t have to pay the fee. USPS Priority mail will be about 8 bucks.
  13. Yes sir. No fitting needed. If you don’t feel comfortable doing it, I’d gladly install it into your trigger pack for you.
  14. I forgot to mention, Democrats get to pay double the listed price in order to pay their fair share.
  15. You got it Milspec. That was the only QD socket I had I think.
  16. Pending on the aluminum trigger frame. I have one more of these.
  17. Alright - I've got a bunch of crap to list. First come, first serve for dibs. Post a comment saying you want something and it's yours unless you back out. Some parts will fly fast, others I don't know if anyone would have any use for. You could grab most of the components here to get yourself about 50% of the way to a real H2O model M4. Pictures of the listed parts are down below. Naturally if you need any assistance assembling these parts or swapping out your existing components, I'd be glad to help. Shipping will be done up with USPS priority mail. Ava Tactical Mod 1 Weapon Light Mount in NP3+. Unit never mounted. Only have this one. 18. I like it. SBS M4's are the best M4's. Agreed on ditching the Surefire M80 rail. I'd go back to the OEM handguard and have them stippled by Tango Arms. If you need the US part, get the FFT reproduction set. They can be stippled as well. I'd throw a carriercomp 5 round titanium tube on it to cut some front weight. Add the A&S trigger frame and maybe add the Scalarworks Sync rail with a RMR, then maybe ditch the iron sights completely to declutter the sight picture. Then drop a Surefire M600IB or M600DF light on the IWC mount.
  19. Sorry, photobucket screwed up a lot of my pictures. You actually have the collapsible stock already. The receiver extension is just neutered so that it doesn’t actually collapse. Here is a link to the functional receiver extension. You’ll note it has a lot more grooves and flat areas on it than yours. https://www.benelliparts.net/store/p21/Benelli_M4_M1014_3_Position_Recoil_%2F_Adjustment_Tube.html
  20. True be that sadly.
  21. Good place to start! Next is replacing that neutered receiver extension with a real deal one. Benelliparts sells them, but they’re kind of involved to replace.
  22. Is it 1 of 2500 or part of the recent run? If it is a new run it’ll have a plastic trigger frame and won’t designate in the serial number where in the 1-2500 it was placed. Either way, shoot it.
  23. Thanks for posting pictures. Seems the stock has went through some changes since it was first shown a few years ago. You do not have to worry about piston placement. They're both identical. The bolt head looks a little rough finish wise, but I imagine it will perform fine. Please post more pictures of the M4A1 if you can!
  24. Agreed that the factory pad is pretty stiff and unforgiving. We had one M4 with the factory buttpad and one M4 with the Limbsaver installed to test. Within a couple dozen rounds, no one wanted to shoot the M4 with the factory buttpad anymore.
