I recently purchased a 1301 Tactical LE. Mine has the Mesa pistol grip and limbsaver pad. I like the light weight. It certainly seems to have a lot of positive reviews but I'm not anticipating it will be better than the M4. I have not yet shot it but I can appreciate the M4 will have less felt recoil due to weight difference. My plan is to do a similar comparison and report back.
-
It was discounted on DVOR so I decided to give it try. I suspect it was produced before the m4 specific handle was available but I don't know for sure.
-
I have a GGG oversized handle that I found has enough side-to-side play when installed that it can rub slightly on the receiver.

Picking up my 1301 Tactical this weekend.

It's crazy you had this defect in the first place. I agree, why they did not replace the parts is worthy of follow up inquiry. I've experienced lousy customer support but would definitely not expect it from Benelli.

score!

I'm guessing the M1014 w "skeleton stock" and US flag are all pinned regardless of where its sold??
-
I take that back. I cleaned up the threads and on reassembly, I used a spot of Blue in case I ever need to remove it in the future.
-
I used a spot of red lock tight. Not much.

I had a similar experience when removing the stock mag tube from my 1014. It was a quick process. Also, I agree, great photo!!I

Were you able to cycle the action at the gunshop?

I have a Winchester SX3. Also recently picked up a Franchi Instinct O/U (have not fired it yet)

My reply to Les_garten was for a different thread - sorry

Here's picture of mine. Fit's well and doesn't touch the receiver. I wondered about the shape of the pointed end being quite different than stock but it seems fine. I'll know more after a couple hundred rounds.
-
Les, I tried one of the oversized GGG bolt handles which kisses the receiver when I insert it. I'll probably have it machined a bit for future use. Right now the RX Arms bolt handle is my go-to.
-
Thanks for fast shipping, RX Arms. I just received my raw Ti handle. Fits perfectly!

I followed SD's instructions and the 10403 limbsaver was easily installed on my c-stock.
-
I think that curved c-stock requires the 5 position recoil tube, yes?
-
and IWC mount.....
-
Damn, I thought $200 was too much for the recoil tube........

I finally got around to installing the Esstac card this AM. Made a cut for the pin.

yes, about the the snap ring pliers and no need to turn/rotate. It should come straight out easily.
