  1. These are the 1 oz. expanding steel slugs, they also have 1.25 oz. expanding slugs - http://ddupleks.com/index.php/en/1270-cal/dupo-28.html
  2. The county commissioners court nearby was considering canceling the contract with the gun show promoter scheduled to take place on county property when the Texas AG stepped in and told them they have to honor their contracts with the promoter. Fortunately for the people of Texas we have a very pro-gun AG.
  3. The M4 allows for ghost loading, at least mine does and it hasn't been modified. The gungrabbers don't give a diddlelysquat about 'technically' - if your shotty is black, has a PG, and is semi-auto that's plenty evil enough for them. They aren't going away anytime soon, so we must remain vigilant as they are VERY determined - just note the level of BS they are hurling - http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-balan/2013/01/16/bob-schieffer-likens-obama-taking-gun-lobby-hunt-bin-laden-defeating-
  4. Ghost loading puts the mag capacity over five on an unmodified Benelli semi-auto (as do mini-shells which may or may not actually work in your own shotgun). The way the language the gungrabbers came up with beginning in '89 would have categorized the Winchester Model 12 pump* with a mag capacity of six with the plug removed as an 'assault weapon'. Don't kid yourself and think for a moment that the gungrabbers are going to *somehow* overlook your Benelli shotgun(s). The gungrabbers want us to be COMPLETELY disarmed - yes, that means ALL your guns including your revolvers and scoped 'deer' (sniper) rifles. *there's been at least one case where a BATF agent committed perjury on the stand in court and called the Model 12 "a machinegun" because it can fire more than one round per single pull of the trigger (WHEN YOU PUMP IT WHILE HOLDING THE TRIGGER DOWN) since it doesn't have a disconnector
  5. You know that
  6. Yeah, and with very little if any resistance from the Gay Old Perverts.
  7. That's some crazy ****.
  8. Always make sure the recoil link pin (located at the rear of the bolt [bcg]) is well lubed when you're cleaning/lubing your semi-auto Benelli.
  9. While I (justifiably) hold a very poor opinion of the NRA due entirely to their HORRENDOUS track record in supporting all the monumentally bad legislation beginning in 1934, I DO strongly suggest making a generous donation to the NRA's Institute for Legislative Action. All money that is sent to the NRA-ILA goes strictly to political action and is not diluted throughout the entire NRA. FWIW, the spirit of Neal Knox lives on in the NRA-ILA. God bless Neal Knox. http://www.nraila.org/
  10. It is suggested you go to the source and call Benelli to find out for sure how to remove it. Someone posted about their experience on here recently regarding trying to remove the buttpad by 'unscrewing the screws' - turned out that the buttpad snaps on a couple of posts.
  11. Can't go by serial number to get date of manufacture, it's strictly the two letter code on all Benellis post-1974 as indicated in list above.
  12. No **** Sherlock. However I had NO idea there was a roll pin in there - there's no corresponding hole on the PG of the fixed buttstock as you know.
  13. The MT item I installed was the QD cup/pocket - now that it's installed it seems sturdy enough. I would have liked to used the KZ device, however that just won't work with the c-stock. I really don't see any other means of attachment on the c-stock configuration other than where that roll pin is located in the PG.
  14. The correct thing to do is to drive it out with the proper size punch - if I'd only had known. The Mesa Tactical parts came in a plastic bag with no paperwork, not even a label.
  15. That's my impression.
  16. Before placing an order for it I called THE SOURCE and talked to a woman at Mesa Tactical who advised me that I would need to DRILL OUT that hole in the PG to enlarge it - NO mention of a roll pin. (Yeah, I see that NOW on their website they make mention of a 'split pin'.) So what do I do? I (carefully) follow the directions I got from Mesa Tactical, breaking a couple of drill bits in the process (I was thinking to myself at the time, "Self, this is being much more difficult than it should be.") - it's one very tough roll pin, Benelli did not cut corners on this roll pin. I finally extract the remnants of the roll pin and then have to be concerned with getting the block within the PG which retains the trigger group properly aligned so that everything comes back together as it should. I was NOT at all pleased with the outcome, although it works now, just not as well as it did before I took a drill to it.
  17. Yeah, Mesa Tactical fails to inform ya that there's a EFFING ROLL PIN THAT YOU HAVE TO DRILL OUT* in that location to install that attachment point. Ask me how I know. *or driven out HAD I KNOW OR BEEN INFORMED that there's a EFFING ROLL PIN there
  18. And unfortunately it won't work with the c-stock.
  19. Legislation is set to be ramrodded through the Illinois lege THIS WEEK prohibiting ownership of essentially ALL modern guns, not just your Benelli shotgun - http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/01/robert-farago/breaking-illinois-bill-to-ban-all-modern-firearms/
  20. I found all the parts to make mine at Lowe's. Sorry, didn't make a video.
  21. I haven't seen it or hefted it so I have no opinion on it. If I were in the market for a c-stock I would first give the ProMag stock a shot at half the price.
  22. Ground effects.
  23. Stock less forend and rail setup is MSRP $375.
  24. Hey XTrooper, check your PMs.
  25. If you used all the items you listed including the ProMag stock and ProMag handguards you'd have five US parts and you'd be gtg.
