  1. No. It says you have the right to hang a pair of bear arms on your wall. Such a right shall not be infringed upon.
  2. I read through it. It reiterates how imported weapons can be brought in. It establishes features that detract from sporting purposes. It outlines how 3 gun and combat shooting competition isn't a sporting purpose in their eyes. Example, a Benelli could never be imported with the collapsible stock that functions or a mag tube that accepts more than 5 rounds. It also indicates that any weapon with side or bottom mounted picatinny rails are NOGO. There are some suspect rulings such as receiver widths. My guess is they're trying to ban a specific set or shotguns that might otherwise be adapted to comply. Bottom line is, comply with the 922 laws and you can do as you please assuming you don't live in a commie state.
  3. Bring it in a case that doesn't scream gun.
  4. Brady Campaign said the same thing about us here in Arizona. How it would be daily blood baths. Here, it is common to see someone open carrying at the gas station or at Walmart. They claimed we'd have shootings in the street like the OK Corral too. When responsible Citizens have chosen to carry a firearm, their demeanor changes. They do not look for fights, they avoid them. They do not escalate situations like road rage. Simply put, an armed society is a polite society.
  5. The law makers would say, it isn't them, it is the constituents whom are to blame. Everyone points the finger to someone else. I believe the thread well established the difference in action/reaction from Law Enforcement in the differing areas. Most of it is in jest. Surely they wouldn't fire more than a mag a piece.
  6. That's a heck of a lot better than I had expected honestly. Do yourself a favor and order Kip's shorty tube while you're at it. Did he mention how long the work takes to complete? Did he mention what is done about the choke?
  7. SgtCathy's description is pretty accurate on how the police state would respond. Of the 75 rounds fired, less than 5% would make contact. Now, sell me on the good parts about living under tyranny. ... .. . *Crickets*
  8. I thought you bought a new camera a while back?
  9. Don't confuse with Xena. Xenu is all about the 'ET finger'.
  10. Don't lie to him. Everyone knows that once you go in, you must partake in the ritualistic sodomy with xenu to get your parking validated.
  11. Standby, carriercomp should be releasing their hammer and disconnector soon. You'll be good to go then. I'm hoping to see them by February.
  12. You have to pull it back and forth, and work it off slowly.
  13. You'd hear more crying about it if they did, trust me. If you're worried about it, Wikipedia Scientology so you can come with preloaded ball busting remarks. It's about as much fun to read about as the Nation of Islam.
  14. I'm curious to know how much they charge too. Barrel length appears to be 14".
  15. I went to SOG at SHOT to see if they had the blade on display. Didn't have anything but Gunny.
  16. AR's in the trunk. There wasn't enough room inside my Mustang for both. In the truck there is though. I've been pulled over before. They couldn't care any less about it. Police here treat you as equals.
  17. http://www.kingarmory.com/ I've heard these guys will do what you want. It won't be cheap though. There is a lot of work to do the job right.
  18. Comparative analysis of what would happen in your State if you carried a loaded weapon like this. Be it to the store, the range, to work or just wherever... When I travel to other oppressive dictatorships within the United States, I find it hard to imagine that so many people put up with such dictatorial BS for a false sense of safety. I find it hard to imagine a lawful people living under such mistrust from their Government. You are maligned and looked down upon by the Government that you supposedly elected. You are treated as a peasant would. Imagine, what would occur if pulled over carrying this way in California. Go directly to jail, do not collect 200$. Consider the nuances in each States law that establish an ultra fine line between lawful and unlawful. No wonder that 1% of the United States population is in the prison system at this time.
  19. I would say yes to both of these as well. However, I don't think the iron sights are very easy to use in the middle position.
  20. Thanks for the correction on the proper transfer form. Considering the wait times, there are a few other options that might speed up the process. You'd only have to wait on one form. Complete a Form 1 on a regular 11707. If you already have an M4, this would be the cheapest avenue to approach. Once the tax stamp is returned, either; 1. Buy a 14" barrel like what showed up on gunbroker last year. However, these are kind of hard to find. 2. Have the existing 18" barrel converted to 14". This takes a skilled hand, but is generally cheaper than buying a new 14" barrel. These guys do work I'm told: http://www.kingarmory.com/ This is work that they've done:
  21. Bring sun screen, and a method to hydrate yourself.
  22. Numrich Arms has them. Look around for my detailed write up on the disassembly/reassembly.
  23. How would you process the form 4 without knowing the serial of the weapon? Seems like you'd have to wait for it to be in stock, transfer it to your C3 dealer, begin the tax stamp. Wait for that to clear, then take possession.
  24. Yes, I have one. I just got it this week actually. What is odd is the unit I have has an acorn nut which is sharp and protrudes quite a bit. The model you have looks much better than what I received. I'd be happy with what you have. I agree that machined limits like in the Daniel Defense or GearSector mounts would be ideal.
