  1. To ensure the barrel is fully seated into the receiver.
  2. Value is what you put into it. I personally wouldn't pay more than 800 for one (even though i did during the panic)
  3. The Forums will not allow you to reply with less than 10 characters.
  4. I do not own the M2, but I do own its predecessor: the M1. The Surefire weapon lights are heavy which should negate the controversial matter of weight vs inertia. There are many articles, forums, and chats about whether or not weight would affect the inertia system. Some folks claims it makes the gun useless, some say they can add all of their tactical do-dads without an issue. While there are many factors that can affect the inertia system; I personally believe weight does not given that it is "broken-in*". *Results will indefinitely vary with different loads.
  5. Step 1: Hold Receiver in Vice jaws firmly Step 2: Strike with hammer on the rubber grip BTW is it benelli or promag?
  6. How awful! don't let these guys sucker you. Be proactive and keep calling/emailing them until you resort to a claims with the moneyorder/creditcard company
  7. Excellent, seems my assumption was way off. 12508, did you happen to buy the H2os at different dates? I wonder why they were hit and miss....
  8. http://nordiccomp.com/retail/shop/nc-extensions/nc-shotgun-extension-complete-assemblies-for-12ga/ They are +2 rounds, but m3 extension would would the same as the +2 rounds. You have to source out for aftermarket like nordic, which is also high quality. +2 will fit behind the 18.5 barrel, any greater will surpass the muzzle.
  9. This isn't even the longest Italian/Benelli made magazine extension for their shotguns! The longest is found on the M1/M2 practical models; which if i recall correctly, it is about 50% longer than this extension. Not sure how stable it would be under recoil, but I don't even have a long enough spring extension to try it out!
  10. Magazine Caps can interchange between the M4 and Supernova/Nova only. You can also interchange the Supernova Adapter ring on the M4, given it is in correct pitch and major diameter.
  11. Yes they do, Benelli has many imported in, but people hike up the price to more than double msrp. I own two of the four magazine extensions for the Supernova, but in reality any benelli extension can be attached to the adapter.
  12. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=375210564 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=375290083 Upon further examination, I started to see differences with the current edition versus the latter. The latter trigger guard is raw, the genuine 2012 H2o is plated in NP3 We can assume that the second auction (yes the one with the ridiculous BIN) has OTHER DISCREPANCIES, such as having the full magazine tube with an raw trigger housing; it just so happens it is for sale right now as we just revived this topic???! SEEMS VERY SUSPICIOUS TO ME, but what do i know....
  13. correction, Robar* did the previous NP3
  14. The factory M3 magazine extension is about .750 inches longer. I will attach it and let you know if there is a round difference
  15. with enough ingenuity and effort, you can crudely attach it on there. But to directly answer your question: NO.
  16. by "tactical stock" you mean pistol grip correct?
  17. seriously... no pictureS?
  18. The flat head screw is a straight knurl for hand tightening. The really early Benellis had a few clamps without the straight knurling (if I recall correctly) Some folks clamp it tighter than a fat person wearing skinny jeans; others hand tighten it as tight as their hand will allow. Sorry I don't have the direct answer, but I personally hand tighten it first, then apply a little more torque with a flat head screwdriver. The technique I use hasn't marred the barrel for me yet with regular loads.
  19. That video makes me laugh every time (how he treats a firearm)
  20. WHAT IN THE WORLD: "Descripton: Benelli M4 Standard Synthetic Stock. Includes recoil pad. NOTE: to install this stock you will need a stock swivel plate which is not included. The part number needed is #60343, see below." So i have to buy the stock and sling plate????
  21. The quote for MSRP was $2,400. I suggest you keep it. You are one of the few owners whom not only own one, but two.
