Besides just plain shooting it, researching and modding this platform was is the best part for me. I'd get started sooner than later- some parts aren't as easy to get now as they were before the world ended. There's tons of valuable info here if you search for it and a copy of benelliwerks manual is a must have IMO. Welcome to the club !

I have an OEM back up too, only reason I was too impatient on waiting for my CC tube to come in when I first bought the gun and I couldn't stand to look at the 5 round limiter. I paid more than 70 bucks though from benelliparts.

I enjoyed taking my stock apart to install the Noveske sling mount. It was interesting to learn something new about how the gun is built and StrangerDanger’s and benelliwerkes detailed instructions and their generous diagrams photos etc. made it an enjoyable little project. The plate looks great too.

Ahh hence your username. Interesting,

Pistol grip is okay in NY as long as it's never collapsible and limited to 5 rounds, and if you're 922r compliant then you can go to 7. My understanding of it here, anyhow. What CAUS said; the Mesa Urbino sounds like a good fit for you. I had one and took it off because I wasn't fond of the quality or means of attachment. Since then I run a field stock with a limbsaver buttpad, and while not as much control for recoil as a PG then again an M4 has a bit less than other shotguns and a field stock just feels natural for me. I don't have any optics or rail, lights etc either I've stripped as much as I can off the gun and stippled the fore end and stock for better handle.

Hence the commando post !

Too bad you didn't have it insured for what it's really worth.

Yes, that’s how I configured mine so I could try it out with my other guns too, but I never use it on the M4 that way.

Looks nice ! I eat my words. Enjoy

If I were the OP I would keep this shotgun. I’d be kicking myself later for selling it.
-
Good question I’ve always wanted to do the same myself, but I don’t think they exist unless you cut one down yourself. I think at least someone on here has from what I remember, but I would imagine you would need to glue your buttpad back on because you would lose the screw holes. I have a limbsaver and I didn’t want to mess with that.

Love my Vickers sling on my M4

I can’t say enough about the Briley trigger; it feels so light like not even 4 lbs and the break is short and crisp. While some might scoff at a tuned trigger for a shotgun and it’s color too (TiN coated for lubricity), I could never go back to the stock weight. If any problem ever did arise with their products I’m certain a company like that would make good on it.

Your car is disgusting. Thanks for sharing

Looks good. I’ve always wanted to see one in OD. What did you use and how did you prep it ?

Good move

Poor mans mod IMO. I never understood in getting these hand guards; there are plenty of other 922r parts to swap out that additionally enhance performance, and why take any quality away from your gun ?
-
Not at all. All I use is a tornado brush works the best @Unobtanium

I have the OEM benelli M4 brake but I never shoot with it. I bought it because its a factory addition and the quality of it is beautiful, and it plain just looks sick on the gun. However in all practicality it weighs a ton hanging off the end of my barrel and makes it too long and even more clumsy, and so it just stays in the safe.
