I wish Benelli would quit smoking crack and selling hunting guys with flush chokes. Whats up with that BS?

SBE II and light loads? will it never eject them or will it get better?
Drundel replied to Team Benelli's topic in Benelli
My SBEII throws out 1 oz. just fine, but it won't do anything with 7/8 oz. loads. -
Im is pretty tight. Most of us like the briley extended light mods.
-
Thats a pretty light load. Its about 7/8 oz. load and my SBE1/2 won't fire them, but some peoples do.

Wanna be hunter range,???????????? I'm also going to Argentina in July for 5 days. Need a bird boy.

It caused many stove pipes.

Clay guns are all about look. dukfvr had one of his older guns with a bright yellow stock and his name in it. it looked sweet.

A lot of us duck hunters haven't had good luck with rem oil on Benellis. FP-10 Miltec-1 I usually put a LIGHT coat of oil all over the inside and on the bolt and I put a dab of gun grease along the rail slide.

most say 100 rounds of 3" mag loads. i shot about 20 3/3.5" loads and then 100 rounds of SC. that first 100 rounds I had 2 hangs. none the next 300.

.721 is what i had mine miced at.

I think Benelli said they made some out of spec and would replace yours. Call in and check.
-
I think its in there with loctite.

Schiessuebung: Any clue if the bolt handle on the one on the left fits in a SBE? I really really want a tactical handle like that when duck hunting with gloves on, but all the after market ones are WAY too big.

Well if you read over on the fuge you should know who I am and my patterning page. If you will look it over I think you will answer most of your own questions. Here is what I would do. A LM as you all around choke. When the ducks aren't decoying, a .675 terror, and if you goose hunt a lot, a 10 ga. with a .705 terror.

I was messing with my SBEII a while back. I shot a superspeed 7/8 lead load and held the gun in the air, not against my shoulder. It didn't even get the shell out of the chamber.
-
I'm the exact opposite. I had a 870 with a flat rib and never could hit anything. I traded it in for a Nova, and wow, what a difference! However, I can shoot my 391 Sporting Gold better than my SBEI or SBEII.

i have one on my nova bought summer of 99

Kinda sounds like the shell carrier is rubbing. Might take it back to the store where it was bought and have them check it out or have a gunsmith look at it.
-
M92 wasn't that bad, up until it hit 10k rounds, then I would chunk it. I thought the bent carriers was a bad run of 391? Mines going great. But man, big ditto on the X2 chokes, honestly, flush chokes should have gone way of the lead shot for waterfowl. When I see someone shoot a 3.5 BBB load in a flush choke I cringe when they pull the trigger. We need a trade in system for our flush chokes, I'll send back ALL of mine for my SBEII if I can be sent like 3 X2 chokes.

Yep, somewhere they got mixed up. If the gun was on a rack, take it back to the dealer.
-
When I get back home I'll take picts of my box for the 1 vs the 2.

A couple more 1/12/05 Last hunt of my season

Just like any auto (pistol, rifle) let the bolt slam shut, thats how it was designed.

#3 or #4 should work nicely. you can probably get away with #5 if the shots aren't that far.
