  1. You couldn't be more right, it has cost the US public Billions of dollars and has not put any number of criminals behind bars that justify the cost. I am for background checks when buying through a dealer but am all for buying through friends, or other resources that do not use ffl transactions and receival or background checks. Sometimes people need to trust others, and when it comes to "hunting guns" there really shouldn't be a huge concern. Yes hunting weapons are designed for killing but not in a way that criminals desire (Most would rather have a pistol or sawed off piece of crap because most don't know what they are doing to begin with- its the sickos with brains you have to worry about ) It is amazing how much money is wasted on gun control issues like registration that could have gone to help people in need or education....it's a arse-backwards world (Country) we live in sometimes but in the end these regulations run their course when data proves them to be ineffective and/or useless in comparison to their cost. Fat Pockets with no Results IMO.
  2. Great Job Art, if you want to use your shotgun on the yotes (I know you probably have got a ton and don't need the advice) you can get a pop up blind. I got one from Killzone and they will replace any and all parts for one year no questions asked for $8 shipping cost. It sets up in under a minute, two minutes if you put spikes in the ground for windy days. I can call coyotes into less than 15 yards (Closer if I wanted but I always kill before that ) with a good blind, scent elimination, and a little bait. Good Luck!
  3. If you wish for this action to not occur, hold the pump with force towards the muzzle. It will not open at all. I happen to like the way it works as it allows me to get to my next round faster. Welcome to Benelli!
  4. What is the exact model/make of your gold choke? I am digging it!
  5. I think it is the apex of a synthetic Benelli. What limited edition # do you have on that one...? I never thought I would see you showing off synthetics but that is a real cool piece. Love the gun safe by the way...I bet you got the Bomb Bunker Version for your Collection!
  6. Carlson's makes one but it is Ported at .665 constriction. Fits the M2 and SBE II. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
  7. Your IC will work Great. If you want more in depth information and test we have been discussing the SuperNova and slugs in this Thread for some time: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19754 Good Luck and Happy Hunting!

    Benelli CS

That is Great, Glad it went so smooth for you. CS does rule with Benelli! If only all companies worked as fast as your recent problem/fix. Sweet that they tested it before sending!
  9. I thought he was talking about the pump clicking, none of our Benelli autos have ever had the click, I was completely unaware of the issue (SBE, R1, Legacy) . Do that many people actually have a clicking problem? If so that does seem like complete operator error.
  10. That is not a bad question at all. It is just so odd that he is having that kind of a problem! I would like to see a pic of it.
  11. I would love to see that. Thanks for correcting me, I feel stupid but the way they do it makes much more sense. I spoke way too fast in my first post without thinking and lack of knowledge! Either way there is a big problem with that guys gun! Tyson
  12. Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like a spray paint, I was thinking the process was more like a rhino finish in the bed of a truck. A film makes since, less gunk and no need to worry about getting in anywhere it shouldn't, I just never saw any seam lines so I thought it was evenly sprayed. My Bad.
  13. That does not sounds right at all. You should not see any rippling or bubbles, unless you put it in the oven or left it out on the hood of you car on a blistering AZ day while the paint was still wet. I would call up Customer Service Immediately and sent them some photos of the damage via email. It is actually a spray coating that is quite thick, I have a few spots on my SN that have got the tree and ledge treatment, but those nicks are the finish pushed back...still hard as rock, no way about to peel off. Good Luck!
  14. Glad I could Help a fellow SuperNova Fan. Happy Hunting!
  15. I prefer their red dot sites. Easy on the eyes and the wallet. I can honestly say that they make some of the best products for the money. Love my stuff from them, and the $50 red dot sight holds a zero even after firing countless 600 gr slugs. I was considering these at one point too about 3 months ago. Let me know how they work for you if you end up getting them. Happy Hunting!
  16. Nothing will Beat the Facts.
  17. duckht183 Would you recommend any of those guns over this SBE? Or just the SBEs that come in from the morons who don't know how to clean their SBEs and SBE IIs or even have a clue how to operate them. Gathered around for the magical REP to answer ALL....HAHAHA
  18. Another Italian Beauty...Just never get tired of it! Some people are crazy to think Benellis are junk....Everyone just look at M1014's collection. Art Nuevo
  19. $1,500 is a lot for anything, but it is all perspective. They will fix it no questions asked if there is a defect but you have a waiting period while they fix your gun...as expected. Anyways it still is a $1,500 gun you are talking about. This is relatively inexpensive in the world of shotguns, but with any mechanical device (cars included) there are constant fixes and aftermarket Additions. If you are not satisfied with your gun maybe the gun counter guy can help you out. I personally wouldn't trade any of my Benellis for what he has recommended because I am a Benelli enthusiast. Some like Ferrari while some like Lamborghini.... Are you a Benelli Guy or are the fixes too much? Take a gander at any of the other shotgun manufacture forums if they exist...some will...some wont. Check out all the fixes they have to do to their Shotguns (Not one shotgun on Earth is Perfect, or we would all have it). Its the nature of the beast. Love it or Hate it....I am enjoying the whole ride! Happy Hunting!
  20. Just because one crappy rep with a hair across his arse ticked you off does not mean in any way that Benelli makes bad guns or is a bad gun company. The click that you are referring to (I am going to go out on a limb here and say your talking about the pumps like the Nova and SuperNova) are annoying, yes, but can be resolved with some simple work in the shop. The reason that they click, or at least the word on the street is that its in case the guns get covered with mud and such, having that play which causes the annoying click will allow them to still function properly. You can fix it though. If you are referring to another click, be more specific. I would never pack Rem Oil with me either, I agree with you 100% on that, you should have told him to find a new day job, considering straight from the Benelli Manual they say not to use any other product on the Benelli guns than the oil they make, which we all know we can't use due to import laws and regulations. Not that having oil with you is a bad idea, I just happen to pack light and again I agree with you, the hunter should not have to worry about that, so long as they have brought a clean gun into the field. The guy didn't know what he was doing or saying and had no solution (Very Lazy). I get your frustration, but to recommend those guns over Benellis on the Benelli USA Forum is CRAZY! You may have been with your pop duck hunting since you were 4, but I bet you didn't get your first flyer till you were about 9 or 10 (And that is still pushing it I bet ya). You may work behind the gun counter, but your not out there shooting all of those guns so don't bother saying they are better because of poor Benelli Reps or the Function of any Benelli Model being inadequate to the guns you say duck hunters are better off buying. The models you recommend are not bad guns but come on man, Cool Off before Posting. Hope you have a Better Day (Or Month in this Case). Get out there and Duck Hunt with a Benelli and Cheer up!
  21. I would recommend checking out Quaker Boy, as this is my favorite Call company. Extremely realistic sounds from every call that I own. Here is the link to the page that can help: http://www.quakerboy.com/products2.cfm?grp=4 I have not tried any of the RNT calls, wish I could give you some input. Happy Hunting!
  22. You will want to start in close and get it on the paper, move back gradually until you reach your desired distance. The 3" Black Magics should be sighted in at 88 yards for ideal use (70 yards for the 2-3/4"). If you sight it in for 88 yards you will know exactly where you will hit on the animal from muzzle to 100 yards. Here is the link to show you what I mean: For the 3" Black Magics http://www.brennekeusa.com/web/text/magnum12.html For the 2-3/4" Black Magics http://www.brennekeusa.com/web/text/magnum_short12.html Happy Hunting!
  23. Awww man if you can, cancel your order for the IC choke, unless you don't have one, which you should have got one with your gun. See if you can change your order to a rifled choke, you will get much better results with much better accuracy! They take a day sometimes less sometimes more, so I would call them if that is a change that you want to make. If you don't have an IC choke well you should have one in your collection, but the rifled choke with your scope is going to give you the ability to reach out and touch something. I am so sorry if I misled you by saying go with a IC choke instead of Modified, I just figured you had the IC. Check your chokes and if you need to make the change give them a call, don't do email because you will literally get Mr. Carlson on the phone if you desire, they are really good over there with customer service and you will correct anything that has not been shipped yet. Good Luck! Let me know how everything Goes! Sorry if I just had you waste money on an IC....I should have just reccomended the rifled choke from the get go...Its what we are using with the Black Magics and other Brenneke Products! Keep us Posted Tyson
  24. Strange that you hate the taste yet your name is Goose2...? Figured if you had enough love for them to have it be your screen name that you would love every aspect about them. I myself eat what I harvest....until it comes to predators....I won't eat Coyote Just yanking your chain bro so don't get heated please.
  25. Still can't believe no one has corrected "Canadian Goose" to Canada Goose
