sck260
Anyone know or hear of when the Urbino stocks will be available...or if Carriercomp will come out with one?
Hookster
Welcome to the forum sck260! It's been "a month or two" for a while now, I don't know if anyone knows anything beyond that right now but many of us are anxiously waiting. I believe stocks from Carriercomp are on the far back burner but Kip is working on lots of other goodies that are also being awaited anxiously. sck260
Thanks Hookster...great forum. I spoke with someone at Mesa today and he said July. I wish they'd hurry. I got short arms!

h.bowman
I don't know much about the Limbsaver. Is it worth the extra cash? I don't think the recoil on the M4 is too much to manage, and I find the Benelli pad to be just fine.

I have them on a couple of rifles and will order the Urbino with one.
Mrblackis300
Hmm... Good thing I saw this. I was about to bid on a pistol grip on Ebay. Now I'll hold out for this. I'll email smartgunner to see if he has any idea.
Hookster
Yeah....I'll be getting one for my M1 and M4. Shorter LOP will be sweet and having a riser for the M4 will finally get me off my a** about getting an optic (Aimpoint T1 or Trijicon RMR) on there. It'll be nice to get my factory grips back on too Later, Hookster
Grizzman
Well, It's now mid July. Has anyone heard any updated info? I'm ready...... Grizz
StrangerDanger
You'll be lucky to see them of the end of the month. The mold wasn't properly made. You might see some of the models list next month. Over at their forum on the Mesa site has some additional information on the project.
Grizzman
Thanks for the reminder about their forum. If they can get the details worked out within the next couple months, that would be cool, and it looks likely. Grizz

Duggan
Absolute vaporware until we start hearing confirmed cases of them arriving in the hands of forum users.
StrangerDanger
Here are the most recent production models. The tan model will have tan pistol grips and butt pads on the production model. Unless a limbsaver is ordered, then it will be black. The cheek riser model is slated to be release down the road.
KB Fab
I ordered one yesterday from Mesa and was told I should have it in 2-3 weeks. I wasn't aware that Mesa sold direct.
bigthunderbob
I spoke to Mesa today and was told the stock should ship out next week. I placed the order 8-17-10. I'll post when I get it.
AggiePhil
Which exact one did you order Bob? I'm wanting to order one with the Limbsaver and cheek riser but heard that the cheek riser might delay things. Nonetheless, I'm gonna need it. ETA: you received some great news if they hold true to it!
Stompy
Im holding out for the cheekriser + limbsaver version for the M4 and the limbsaver for the M2 tactical both in black. I might wait for Midway or Brownells to get them in stock because I get a discount with them, and will have to pay full price if ordering direct from Mesa. Sukhoi_fan
I'm wondering if it's possible to put the Benell OEM rubber PG on the Mesa stock. Edited October 22, 2010 by Sukhoi_fan typo
AggiePhil
I'm wondering if it's possible to but the Benell OEM rubber PG on the Mesa stock. Don't think there's a need. Mesa copied the stock grip almost exactly.
AggiePhil
"We won't ship the first stock until the first week of November at the earliest. The first stocks shipped will be the versions without the cheek riser, and because of the extra time involved in producing the Limbsaver buttplate assemblies, those will take a little longer as well. "The GOOD NEWS, however, is that we re-evaluated our pricing decisions, and we decided to cut the prices by approximately half. We have not finalized the pricing yet, but it will be around half the prices quoted in our catalog # 14." -the latest news
