SHARP1983
Switching to a optic on my M4 and ordered a Scalarworks Sync and a type 2 RMR. Is a sealing plate needed between the two? If so who do you all recommend for the plate?
Unobtanium
It is not.

Ben elLes
I would like to know the best of the affordable red dot options available. Having never used one it’s hard to justify the 700 for the T2 if I don’t know that I like it.

Much as I hate to say it, reviews on Amazon are usually pretty helpful.

Looks like I’m trying out a crossfire.
Gmcrigger2007
Eotech is coming out with a new red dot that' similar to the trijicon rmr which looks very interesting and is around 400$ .

Devil Dawg
For those of you that like the Mesa tactical shell carrier. Mesa Tactical will be coming out with the same design but with the ability to install a RMR. I guess it should be hitting the shelves Within the next couple weeks. Ben elLes
Happy with the crossfire and the stock in the middle position. Excellent fit. Not sure if my sight moved or if 25 feet of difference caused me to have to move adjust it. Perhaps this is the difference between expensive and not so expensive? That is a common trend with cheap optics, yes. My go to optic brands are trijicon and nightforce. Both are durable as heck, and marine proof like the benelli m4. I can take a trijicon optic off and on repeatedly and it will still hold a true zero. I can bash someones head in with a trijicon optic and itll hold a zero and still function. I dont like cheap parts on my tools that i need to rely on survival with.
Ben elLes
I’ll invest in a better one. Having never used one I wanted to see how I liked it before shelling out the big bucks.

Doge
Can’t go wrong with Trijicon. They have got good designs that has stuck around for years. RMR is still wildy popular; but I prefer my SRO for my shotguns.
Varangian
Looks good, works great on the M3. Lower 1/3 co-witness with the ghost ring with the straight stock, pistol grip stock, and the collapsible. If I can see through the ghost ring, I can see through the RMR.
