  1. Was speaking of the Larue optic mounts. The split picatinny rails eat the recoil lugs. Those mounts are not recommended for split rail use, even by Larue
  2. I’m not sure who makes that mount. For me, a good, comfortable cheek weld was #1 priority. I’m not going to be kicking in doors and climbing fences, so I don’t have the need. Property defense and a range gun for me
  3. Love the ScalarWorks mount. I highly recommend it. I’m running an RMR on my M4. I haven’t tried the SRO, I can’t get Ofer the Formula 1 air intake looks. Welcome the forum, congrats on your new M4
  4. Placed an order for stock for my SN Tac this morning. Received shipping notification a few mins ago. Parts that are in stock ship FAST
  5. Holy thread resurrection I have an Urbino stock and side saddle on my SN Tac. No issues with it in almost five years and 2k+ shells
  6. I would think the tube would need to be removed anyway. You might save a bit of money if you find someone that knows what they are going. I haven’t ever seen dimensional drawings from Benelli
  7. Not a TTI fan.......won’t put money in his pocket what other handles are considered better than Benelli?
  8. Seems a lot of parts are back ordered. I have some AR bits that have been back ordered since abou the same time
  9. I think the thread size is different,......so I don’t think so.
  10. That’s great news, a stand up guy with a quality product
  11. Very cool.......but I’ll stick with my Benelli
  12. I bough one s few weeks ago on FleaBay. Drilled the hole with a 7/8” forstner bit
  13. Look at a few of StrangerDanger’s threads. Some great parts and wonderful pictures
  14. Welcome....I’m setting up an m4 after not having one for a few years. A ScalarWorks rail and an RMR was a must have for me
  15. As always.....appreciate the advice and knowledge
  16. Great to hear.....congrats SD has been helping many for YEARS. Truly an unsung hero of the forum
  17. Or, would it just make sense to order an A&S housing and install all the FFT parts?
  18. I have a newer production m-1014. I’m doing the parts count deal so I can install the long mag tube worry free. I have a FFT firing group kit and I just came across a Geissele hammer, new, never out of the psckage. I remember some years ago, FFT hammers were showing premature wear. Has this been corrected? I’m thinking of simply using the Geissele hammer with the Benelli firing group. Thoughts on this?
  19. Great idea with the witness mark, I had not thought of that
  20. As StrangerDanger posted. It’s a general rule of thumb. Not sure it’s the perfect idea, but it’s worked for me. I would guess I applied about 25 inch pounds, I’d you need a number. And that is with the thread locker, if threads were dry, torque would be about 10% higher. A torque spec chart I have lists 2.48 n*m for that size fastener. that works out to be 21.9 inch pounds
