  1. How old/new is your M4? S/n range?
  2. Still no website eh? I would be interested in more info on just what their trigger job entails (tuned factory or aftermarket parts?). The loading port polishing and carrier latch mods intrigues also. . .
  3. Bolt, barrel, inside of receiver, pistons and cylinders.
  4. Just get a refund and get a KZ unit imho
  5. What I don't get is that Benelli has to be keeping an eye on this forum and they have to know what these things are going for. You'd think they'd find a new work around.
  6. Nice deal guys. Keep us posted.
  7. Some of the VM's parts look eerily similar to an M4's. Would be interesting if any fit for 922r purposes . ..
  8. Not to pile on . . . but here is my FFT hammer. It has seen about 30rds. The coating is already peeling off. I don't know what the deal is but it seems extremely weak. The hammer itself doesn't appear to be deforming though. I am going to continue to use it. If it deforms I will get a Geiselle and have a gunsmith stone fit it as out of the box I don't care for them.
  9. Couldnt you test this theory by removing the pistons? Anyone done that before? Seems to me the effect would be the same as the srm modification- making the gun operate more like an M2???

    M4

Weird that it failed with buckshot. I have never had a failure of any kind shooting buckshot- ever. Try again and use the lube the gun comes with.
  11. IIRC they were $235. I ordered two for good measure. One came in a brown box with the benelli label. The other one came in a big clear plastic bag. Weird.
  12. I have the KZ charging handle it is great. Looks factory and doesn't rotate. I have never had a problem with botach. Recall that at one time they even sold the benelli collapsible stock to mere mortals.

    M4 Magazine cap

I think a Nova mag cap will work.
  14. The hearsay number mentioned on this forum earlier was 60. I would get it if you can fit it into your budget for what the asking price is.

    Vinci Tactical

What is the recoil like on the Vinci with that "next gen" inertia system?
  16. I would've been all over this a few weeks ago before I installed an FFT tube
  17. If you want 922r parts count go SOCOMGUY or Freedom Fighter Tactical. If you aren't worried about parts count, go Benelli.
  18. Sweet. Good to know.
  19. I am interested. But, it appears there is not enough clearance from the light mount to orient a qd sling swivel in the vertical position?
  20. I just tried that to a stock Benelli M4 and you are right! Thanks for the tip. I will be happy with my FFT hammer now and stop worrying
  21. I am only worried about parts count while keeping factory characteristics. That is why I am leaning towards adding the disconnector and going back to the factory hammer. On a side note I drove an hour out to no man's land to test the mods and the land has been placed off limits for shooting. Grrr.
  22. I installed an FFT hammer today. The edges at the top seem to have a slight chamfer to them and the finish seems soft. Trigger pull is much better. Still has the issue with retracting the bolt on safety when decocked like the Geissele unit. At this point I am not sure what I am going to do. Maybe reinstall the factory hammer and put in an FFT disconnector . . .
  23. No I haven't but that is a great idea. I will give it a try.
  24. Ok. Impact Guns gets Entry models every once in a while. You might want to touch base with them.
  25. Can your dept order either an entry gun or barrel for you? If not, here is a pricey option: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=390279422
