    benelli m4 h2O

I had two at one time. I sold one because I was not happy with the finish. While I sold it for more than I paid, I kinda regret it. I would keep them both. Very few were made and you have two originals.
  2. Yeah, I have hit steel silhouettes at 200yds with M4s when fired from a bench. 6/10 seems pretty good.

    New M4 Shooter

Lube the bolt liberally with the oil included in the box and I doubt you will have problems with any loads.
  4. Yes. I can see for three gun velcro might be the way to go (but I wouldn't use an M4 for 3 gun). I don't think the sidearmor plates weigh that much- they are just aluminum. And, I don't see a home defense/self defense situation where I would need more than 7+1+1+8 (on a side saddle).
  5. So are you talking about 3 gun or self/home defense? How has your velcro held up to the elements? Can you post pics of the velcro saddle set up on your M4?
  6. I did not take my sidearmor to a shotgun course that I attended as I didn't think I would need a side saddle since I had a chest rig already. What a mistake (inserting shells from a saddle into the mag tube is much easier than plucking off a chest rig and then inserting . . . especially under stress on the move). The day of the course saw rain and snow making the training area muddy. I would not want Velcro in that situation.
  7. I have the sidearmor 8 shell unit with the QD attachment system. It does have some square edges that I guess could scrape on something but I haven't had that problem. If you do go sidearmor, make sure you get the quick detach version so the saddle is easily removed to leave access to the takedown pin that you pull out to fieldstrip the gun.
  8. Yes, botach sold a bunch for $230. I think somebody clamped down on that. I think those days are gone for good.
  9. No prob. Post pics of your setup when you are done
  10. Tommyboy, this might be what you are looking for:http://www.spectergear.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=293
  11. Yeah the CS has off the charts tacticoolness but sucks for comfort imho. Really digging the contrasting black CS on the camo receiver . . .
  12. The black furniture looks ok with the camo finish. I like what you have done with the stock.
  13. Specter Gear slings for benellis narrow down to fit. edit: to get the most out of any sling you need to get some snap ring pliers and turn the front sling loop to the side imho.
  14. Hmm. The stock looks like it might be worth a try. The ergos look good.
  15. Or you could just use it in the fully extended position. I never shoot it half way or fully collapsed.
  16. Latest report was from 2010? I hope they do it anyways. I find the OEM CS to be extremely uncomfortable to the cheek under hard recoil.
  17. Hi, I am not trying to hijack the thread but I thought I would post some pics of the KZ handle. I have been running one for a while with no issues. I like it because it is just an enlarged factory piece. I don't have a micrometer but the shaft SEEMS a tad larger. There is some wear on it but I don't think it is anything to be worried about. I do keep it wet when inserted into the bolt. I ran it hard during an all day shotgun course where it was manipulated hard for various drills and it never let me down. Like the factory unit it will spin but only if you twist it with your fingers. Pics below. I have 2 of the bolt hole itself. Pics aren't the greatest but it doesn't appear to be wearing on the bolt. Edit: It appears KZ makes two versions. This is the "Ergonomic" version: http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbeerchha.html
  18. Wolf and S&B slugs shoot great out of my M4s.
  19. They gotta build the long-promised ARX100 first. LOL
  20. I love the KZ one. It is just an oversized version of the factory unit. http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbeerchha.html
  21. Not working with ******.
