Hi, I am not trying to hijack the thread but I thought I would post some pics of the KZ handle. I have been running one for a while with no issues. I like it because it is just an enlarged factory piece. I don't have a micrometer but the shaft SEEMS a tad larger. There is some wear on it but I don't think it is anything to be worried about. I do keep it wet when inserted into the bolt. I ran it hard during an all day shotgun course where it was manipulated hard for various drills and it never let me down. Like the factory unit it will spin but only if you twist it with your fingers. Pics below. I have 2 of the bolt hole itself. Pics aren't the greatest but it doesn't appear to be wearing on the bolt. Edit: It appears KZ makes two versions. This is the "Ergonomic" version: http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbeerchha.html

Wolf and S&B slugs shoot great out of my M4s.

They gotta build the long-promised ARX100 first. LOL

I love the KZ one. It is just an oversized version of the factory unit. http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbeerchha.html

Try running it without the retainer and see what happens. I ran a Nova that way with no issues.
-
Does it still add two extra rounds? If the mag spring retainter is falling out of the tube, take some snap ring pliers and stretch it so it is a snug fit. Edit: Sorry, I just saw that it is NOT an extention.

3" Magnums? That could get spendy. All you need to do is get the bolt dripping wet with the lube that came with the gun and shoot a whole 100rd value pack of federal birdshot that you can get at walmart and you will be good to go.

Too small for QD sling mounts. At least the ones I have . . .

I replaced the o-rings on one my M4s that I have had for about 5 years. They were getting torn/worn from repeated removal, not normal operation. I think unscrewing the plugs wears them more than anything. Brownells sells replacements but they appear to be out of stock and ever increasing in price even though they are relatively cheap: http://www.brownells.com/shotgun-parts/receiver-action-parts/o-rings/gas-plug-o-ring-sku301000497-23649-50266.aspx

I run this http://www.spectergear.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=292

After owning a few of these, one thing I have learned is to break them in with the oil that is in the box with the gun. It will run happy on birdshot with that stuff.

The adjustability of the cheekpiece looks good. I would have preferred a factory-appearing grip though.

I like the KZ "ergonomic" oversized handle. Been running one for a while with no issues at all. http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbeerchha.html

Try Wolf Slugs. The wad is attached to the slug and they are scary accurate.
-
Wow. The grip and cheekpiece look like factory parts . . .
-
I don't know about carrying $50,000 in inventory but I have heard from a few local dealers that a minimum order with Benelli is $10,000.
-
They can be very tight. Do they appear to be cross threaded? If not try to get some leverage/an extension while using to the bolt handle to turn them.
-
M4s need to be tight in the shoulder when firing birdshot and low recoil loads in my experience after owning a few. They also like to be ran wet with the lube included from benelli when breaking them in.

Looks fun. I think there are some members on the forum here that have said they have "outrun" the gun and caused trigger issues because the action could not keep up.

I am down to 2 at the moment. I want to pick up a sbs M4 sometime . . .

I think tktm might be on to something. If the handguards didn't allow the barrel extention to seat properly into the receiver it is conceivable the mag cap wouldn't have enough threads exposed to seat on?? Just a wild guess. Can you post pics of the receiver/barrel interface and the cap?

They are garbage, they only add one extra round.
-
They will only go up when they pop up on the market. A few years back Botach ($225) and some other online places sold them to anyone. Benelli has since cracked down. Unless you are L.E. you will NOT be able to purchase these new ever again. I suppose if you have an H2O Benelli would sell you a replacement . . . the H2O stock does differ in that the hardware on it is coated so it would be apparent if you put an H2O stock on a regular M4.
