In "the woman's guide to being a fine girlfriend" it states: "when shopping for a shotgun for your boyfriend you can do one of two things 1. You can buy him a Benelli M4 or 2. You can buy him something else. It sounds to me like he appreciates fine guns (Wilson Combat, Ed Brown). He also likes tactical. You CANNOT go wrong with a Benelli M4.

I know exactly how you feel. I can't stand it when I don't hear anything up until the end of the next business day. Side armor sent mine right away so they were good and everybody always gets their stuff from them. But when some place doesn't send an email when something is back ordered and I get no communication unless I'm the one initiating it I get pretty peed off and I usually won't shop from them again unless I have no other reasonable choices. I can't stand the torture of waiting for new gun parts! And I'll do what I can to avoid extended suffering.

I have one. I love it and it's here to stay. Hold your M4 and angle your forward hand a bit to match the angle on the foregrip, you'll see where I'm comin from.

Yes, you're in violation. Don't stand too close to your windows. Watch your rearview mirrors when you drive. Wear dark sunglasses and a fake mustache. If you get this forend you will solve your problems.

I haven't noticed much of a problem, sometimes on the weekends but no big deal. I guess this is better than having an over zealous moderator dictator on a power trip like some other boards that will remain nameless.

Wow. I deal with optics planet all the time, they're nice folks, they should take good care of you. I ordered my M80 from them a couple weeks ago, looks like I almost got that one... phew!

There are NO cons to carriercomp's ti tube. It simply doesn't get any better. Benelli's full tube holds 7 rounds but it's not US made so you really shouldn't go that route.

carriercomp. You will hear nothing bad about carriercomp tubes. And be prepared for a lot of carriercomp praise in the posts to come.

Seriously. $150. I already spent an arm and a leg on my C Stock. I need my last arm and leg for shooting.

Same here. I don't quite have 13,000 rounds fired through mine yet but I do have some chafing.

To put it simply, you can put on the C stock and not the tube. BUT if you do this you'll have to replace one of the parts from that previous list with a US made part, I'd probably go with replacing the follower because it's cheap. Or, you could replace the tube and not the stock. If you go this route you'll want to use a US made tube. After that you'll have to replace 2 more parts on your gun. At this point in time, you're left with replacing the follower and the forend. If it were me though, I'd be replacing the magazine tube with Kip's tube and I'd be replacing that stupid stock with the C stock. After that I'd go out and shoot some targets, starting with a copy of the 922r laws. Yeah, you heard me, I'd shoot that piece of paper up until it's blowing in the wind and there's nothing to clean up. More importantly, I'd be enjoying my Benelli M4!

I'm waiting for the same foregrip. I don't see how it can do anything other than help the situation.

I want to say, M1 Garand.

I have kids in the house. So what I do is load it every night, I then unload it every morning and put it away in a safe place. Then I load it again that night and put it up on the shelf out of the reach of children, LOADED with the safety on. Then in the morning I take the thing down and unload it and lock it up. Then at night I take it out again and load it and put it on the shelf, then in the morning I take it down and unload it. The following night I take it out and load it again. Then the next morning I unload it and put it away again. Then, I take it out and load it again for the night, then I take it and put it away in the morning, unloaded. Then at night time, I bust out the Benelli and load it and put it on the shelf, when I wake up in the morning, I take it off the shelf and unload it and put it away. So I said "sometimes".

Same here, I was waiting for the FFT forend but I couldn't take it anymore and I bought the surefire M80. I watched the Magpul videos so now I want the Magpul forgrip.. It looks comfortable and tremendously useful. Still waiting for carriercomp's bolt handle, hammer, disconnector, follower, and whatever else they release. Trying not to think about it though, the suspense is building.

I'm surprised you got the thing apart with a knife that small.

I just have the sidearmor side saddle (mod 2). Right now I'm using a KZ rail that mounts on the tube. But that's all about to change when I get the M80. I really don't like the fact that I need a tool to take the rail off and strip down the gun. Plus, when I put the thing back on it's a pain to line up perfectly straight, then I have to sight the laser in again. Things will be easier and more consistent with the surefire M80. Some people complain about the grip on the M80 but I figured since I'm putting a Magpul foregrip on there it won't really matter to me.
