MrMilitaryPolice Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 had this conversation with a friend today and was wondering what anyone else might offer up as their favorite or funnest shotgun?? it was close between my Ithaca 37 DS slamfire but my Molot Vepr 12 factory folder in SBS form came out on top..after my M4, of course. alpha 33 Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Just the remnants of a cheap old Davidson 16ga. I call it my Yosemite Sam relic. Those of you old enough to remember the Luney Tune cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Wile E Coyote ect. ect.) years ago can relate. 1 Quote
bigdog02 Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Love sporting clays and trap, so Beretta Silver Pigeon. 1 Quote
bambihunter Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 (edited) I've only got two other shotguns models aside from Benelli. Remington 1100LW .410 with 4 barrel set (they were all fixed choke in that era) Savage 24. I've got several of these. The one I use the most is 22/410. I've got a couple others that I inherited. I don't really care for them but keeping them out of respect. Edited April 16, 2021 by bambihunter 1 Quote
BallChange Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 One that I don't own but to me rivals the status of the M4, is a Mag-10 Roadblocker. I'd love to chuck some 00 outta one of those... 1 Quote
Nocturnalnature Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 (edited) My beloved Caesar Guerini. The shop didn't have a left handed one so I drove up to the factory in Maryland to pick it up. When they brought it out I knew immediately the drive had been worth it. Edited April 16, 2021 by Nocturnalnature 1 1 Quote
D'zaster Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 Winchester SX3 with mag extension for busting clays. Quote

It still has the original safety on it. At least the one on the right has it. I bid on one with box and papers and upgraded safety right as COVID took over a year ago and for some reason I didn't get my auto bid in right and I didn't get it. Within weeks, the prices had shot up a grand. I'd still like one of those, as well as a SPAS-15. Quote

I have original trigger for one with updated safety And other is under 25 in second gen ..Had two spas-15 now only one.. Edited April 17, 2021 by rubicon20032003 1 Quote

Gallo Pazzesco Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 I've got a 1939 Ithaca Featherweight Model 37 that my Grandfather left me that I am partial-to. I've got a few of them (M37s) but that one is my favorite and still my favorite quail and dove gun. Quote

benelliwerkes Posted April 18, 2021 Posted April 18, 2021 (edited) Some of my favorite non-hunting shotguns. The Spas-12 is one of the mechanically clumsiest shotguns ever designed. I authored an Anatomy Series Manual for the Spas-12 Improved Trigger Group, i.e. cross bolt design compared to the lever safety trigger group. FYI-The Franchi Spas 12 with lever-style safety is dangerous! Still searching for a Spas-12 "diverter" muzzle device. Edited April 18, 2021 by benelliwerkes Quote
